Pho 88 Restaurant in California

"This place was within walking distance of my hotel, so I had to check them out. Don't hesitate if you're in the area and want some delicious pho. Lemon is server in place of lime, but it still tastes okay. I ordered #4 and was very pleased with the broth and the amount of ingredients! Delicious! The gyoza appetizer is tasty as well. I tried the coffee, but probably won't order it next time. It wasn't bad, but it was mixed, on ice, and had a side of white sugar when it was brought out. I like to stir the dropped coffee over the sweetened condensed milk then pour it myself. No biggie, just a preference. The staff was friendly as well. Check them out!"

"The Pho is really good and hit the spot. The broth was very flavorful. A good bowl of Pho with Christmas music playing...can't get much better than that! The comments that reference restaurant being slow... they're back there literally cooking from scratch. If your looking for something fast, go to Mcdonald's. Also don't get bluntness confused with rudness. People are too sensitive amd seem to always look for something to complain about. Took the picture mid eating."

"The spicy steak phos the best. They actually have a combo right now that comes with a drink. Spring roll and pho of your choice. I always recommend the spicy steak bowl with extra steak!"

"Food is 4 stars, price is 5 stars, place is kind of dank and dirty, but you get what you pay for. Tables turn over fast, so it’s understandable. Very affordable and delicious. They have hoisin sauce and hot sauce on the table."

"Pho88 is one of my favorite places for Pho! Their Shrimp spring rolls are so good!! Service can sometimes be a little slow but I think like in many places, they're finding it hard to hire people so you can't hold it against, they do a great job at keeping their patrons happy and it's worth the wait!"
